Interview with African Union Television.
AU Multimedia Crew encountered Hon. Agyei Mensah (Mayor) in an interview driven by
D.K. Wins (Journalist – AU FM) he said, after this exercise, various sanitation officers in his Metropolis will always go round
and ensure good sanitation in every community and anyone
who refuses to abide by their regulations should be brought to book.

Further in the same interview, we wanted to know about his plans ahead of 2028 elections,
whether he is having any intentions of contesting again in 2028 as Member of parliament
but he answered that, in politics, you don’t have to answer NO to any position,
But for him, he had no intentions going back to contest for the MP ship but will have
to give that opportunity to anyone who best fit to the position to contest.
Hon. Agyei Mensah (Mayor) made a curtesy call to all stakeholders, Companies, Industries,
and all individuals to reach out and support him to fight filth
in the Metropolis and to ensure that Techiman is clean.
And all the various groups who volunteered in this clean up exercise lacks
equipment which can help them do the work and so they
may need certain items to enhance them to do the cleaning like
rakes, long broom, cutlasses, wheelbarrow, safety gloves, nose mask and many others.
He commended the various youth associations in their massive turn outs in numbers and
took part in the exercise namely, Twimia Nkwanta Youth Association (TNYA), Citiboyz and
all the media fraternity in Techiman for publicizing on this exercise and making it a successful one.
