The Deputy UK Prime Minister congratulated President Mahama on his electoral victory and reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s development. She highlighted the synergy between the UK government’s growth agenda and Ghana’s vision for a 24-hour economy, aimed at creating jobs and improving living standards.
The meeting also touched on Ghana’s economic challenges, including restricted access to international credit markets. President Mahama assured that his administration is working to position Ghana as a prime destination for foreign direct investment (FDI) to create employment opportunities.
